In time to help chose the Christmas gifts, Portuguese fashion gets together next weekend at Alfândega do Porto with creations by the major national fashion designers, being available for seeing and touching.
Luís Buchinho, Fátima Lopes, Miguel Vieira and Júlio Torcato are just some of the designers present at the “Fashion Expressions” exhibition organized by CENIT-Centre of Textile Intelligence, coordinated by Luís Pereira.
In the coming days 8 and 9 of December, between 10:30am and 11:00pm, the Archive Room at Alfândega do Porto will fill with the centrepieces of the fall-winter 2012/2013 collection by the great national designers, which, in addition to those already mentioned, will include the presence of Alexandra Moura, Diogo Miranda, Katty Xiomara, Pedro Pedro and Storytailors, as well as young talents Daniela Barros and Teresa Abrunhosa and industry brand Meam by Ricardo Preto.
The goal of the initiative, inserted in the project of fashion promotion “Porto Fashion Show” by CENIT, is «to reinforce the image of Portuguese fashion amongst the general public, who, during the visit, will not only be able to enjoy the creations of some of the best Portuguese designers, but also experience these same proposals».
A mandatory show for those who enjoy fashion and don’t want to miss the opportunity to find the best national designers in a single space.
